NT Ministers Welcome

Welcome from the Minister for Tourism and Culture

Central Australia is home to the oldest continuous cultures in the world and it just seems like a perfect match for the relatively new pursuit of geocaching.

As Minister for Tourism and Culture in the Northern Territory, I am really pleased Alice Springs has been selected for a World Geocaching Event in Easter 2017.

Participants from around the world will find a very warm welcome here in the Territory.  I’d encourage you to consider a longer stay: bring family and friends and visit iconic Uluru, or make you way up to astonishing Darwin.  To help plan your stay, check out northernterritory.com to see some of the great things the Northern Territory has to offer.

Welcome to the Northern Territory and have a great time while you are here.
